Roy Christian Tia

Roy Christian Tia has a diverse work experience in various roles. Roy Christian started their career as a Math and Sciences Tutor at Orate Tutorial and Review Center in 2010. In 2016, they joined Nokia as an R&D Engineer, and later transitioned to the role of Scrum Master. Roy Christian worked at Nokia until 2019. From 2017 to 2019, they also served as a Scrum Master at Bili Online Grocery. In 2019, Roy joined ING Philippines as a Java Software Engineer until 2020. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at SAVii.

Roy Christian Tia completed their education with a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of the Philippines in the period from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the same institution, during the years 2009 to 2013. In addition to their academic degrees, Roy has also obtained several certifications, including Professional Scrum Master 1 from Scrum.org in August 2018, Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in November 2017, Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in September 2018, and Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. in September 2018.
