Juha Virmavirta

Juha Virmavirta is a seasoned professional with extensive experience at UPM Raflatac since December 1999, currently serving as Director of RafCycle Solutions, where responsibilities include leading the global Rafcycle label waste solutions program in collaboration with various partners to drive EBITDA growth and customer value. Previously, Juha held the position of General Manager, overseeing a production unit with over 200 employees and focusing on key performance indicators such as safety, productivity, and employee well-being. Additionally, Juha served as Director of HR & Legal Affairs, managing HR initiatives and legal matters for an international business unit. Prior experience includes working as a Legal Counsel at UPM's corporate head office from August 1994 to December 1999. Juha holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law and Legal Studies from the University of Turku, earned between 1989 and 1994.
