Henna Lehtonen

Henna Lehtonen is a seasoned professional in the field of chemical technology with extensive experience in project development and refinery operations. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Permitting and Development at UPM - The Biofore Company since September 2018, Henna has led cross-functional teams to secure biorefinery permits and manage projects from pre-feasibility to engineering phases. Prior to this role, Henna held positions at STR TECOIL Ltd. as Refinery Director and Production Manager, overseeing a 40-person organization and achieving high production capacities in lube oil re-refinery operations. Earlier career experiences include production and development management roles at L&T Recoil Oy, process engineering at Pöyry Industry Oy, and customer service engineering at Metso Paper Inc. Henna is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from Hanken & SSE Executive Education, building upon a Master's degree in Chemical Technology from LUT University.
