Janne Vuopala

Janne Vuopala has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Janne began their career at Akto Oy as an Import and Sales Manager from May 1990 to February 1997. Janne then joined Gather Group Oy, where they served as Partner and Managing Director for 7 years. During this time, they gained experience in project management, team building, and leadership, including managing international software development programs. In 2008, Janne joined UPM-Kymmene Group as Director of Business IT Services. Janne transitioned to UPM - The Biofore Company in the same role, responsible for global support functions and common IT services. Janne later became the Director of IT End User Services and then Vice President of IT End User Services. From April 2017, they have held the position of Vice President of Workspace Services. Janne's expertise lies in IT services and management, specifically in business IT services and workspace programs.

Janne Vuopala earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Hospitality from IMC, which they attended from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they studied Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management at Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences from 1992 to 1994. Janne completed their high school education at Minneapolis Lutheran High School from 1985 to 1986, and at Porkkala High School from 1984 to 1986.
