Maria Tuomi

Maria Tuomi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in service design, transition management, and operational excellence across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Service Design at UPM - The Biofore Company, Maria has previously held roles such as Manager of IT Transitions and Change Adoption. Prior to UPM, Maria worked at Nordea as Transition Project & Program Manager, leading significant transformation projects for banking processes. At Outotec, responsibilities included managing operational excellence initiatives and driving the development of CRM tools while overseeing multiple transition projects within the Global Shared Service Center. Maria's career also includes project management consulting at Twinspark Consulting Oy and roles in customer service and research. With a Master’s degree in economic sciences from the University of Tampere, Maria continues to expand knowledge through ongoing education at prestigious institutions.
