Mika Etholen

Mika Etholen has extensive experience in automation development and management, currently serving as the Manager of Automation Development at UPM - The Biofore Company since March 2020, and previously held the position of Automation Senior Expert. Prior to UPM, Mika worked at OUTOTEC (FINLAND) OY as a Product Manager and at Borealis in roles including Senior APC Engineer and APC Engineer. Additional experience includes time at ABB as an Energy Efficiency Specialist and Manager of Electricity and Automation, as well as a Lead Engineer at Sesca Drives. Earlier career stages involved application specialist roles at Metso Automation, focusing on drive controls and project/product management. Mika holds a degree from LUT University, earned between 1995 and 2001.
