Mika Passila

Mika Passila is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience in network and connectivity leadership. Currently serving as Head of Networks & Connectivity at UPM - The Biofore Company since October 2018, Mika previously led Internet and Core Networks at HERE Technologies from March 2013 to November 2018, overseeing a range of network services and managing a diverse team. Mika's career at Nokia spanned over a decade, during which various roles were held, including Senior Capability Manager and Product Manager in core networks, with responsibilities for significant financial portfolios and team leadership. Mika's academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications & Security from Teknillinen korkeakoulu and a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications from Häme Polytechnic.
