Colin Griffin is a highly experienced professional in the fields of rehabilitation and sports performance, currently serving as the Lead Clinician for Foot and Ankle Rehabilitation at UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic since February 2014. In this role, Colin specializes in the rehabilitation of foot and ankle injuries while leading a clinical team to enhance service delivery. Additionally, Colin serves as a Strength and Conditioning Coach within a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on biomechanical analysis and exercise programming. As a co-founder and Director of The Altitude Centre Ireland Ltd, Colin has been pioneering the use of simulated altitude technology since 2011. With a strong athletic background as a two-time Olympian representing Ireland and extensive educational qualifications, including a PhD in Human Movement Science, Colin demonstrates a solid commitment to advancing the fields of sports medicine and rehabilitation.
