Ernesto James Familar

Ernesto James Familar is an experienced nursing professional with a robust background in peri-operative and recovery care. Currently serving as the Recovery Room Nurse Manager at Sports Surgery Clinic since June 2018, Ernesto oversees an 11-bed post-anesthesia care unit. Prior to this role, Ernesto spent over a decade at Beacon Hospital as the Operating Theatre Clinical Coordinator, managing clinical operations across multiple surgical disciplines, including General Surgery and Robotic Surgery. Early career experience includes working as a Staff Theatre Nurse in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at Rotunda Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Peri-Operative Nursing from University College Dublin and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
