Gavin Hickey is the Medical Director of the VAD Program at UPMC Heart & Vascular Institute at UPMC Presbyterian since 2020. Previously, they served as an Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant and Pulmonary Hypertension specialist at UPMC from 2015 to 2020, and as a Cardiologist focused on Heart Failure/Transplant and Pulmonary Hypertension. They also held the role of Director of Heart Failure Services at Va Pittsburgh Healthcare Systems since 2017. Gavin completed a cardiology heart failure fellowship at UPMC WorkPartners in 2015 and is currently pursuing a degree at the University of Rochester.
