Jennifer Small, Ed.D, MBA, RRT, CAPPM, currently serves as the Administrative Director for Primary Care Services and Occupational, Geriatric, and Palliative Medicine at UPMC since July 2019. Prior to this role, Jennifer held various leadership positions at Geisinger from March 2000 to July 2019, including Director, Regional Manager of Risk Management & Patient Safety, and Operations Manager of Respiratory Care. Jennifer's career began at CHS Berwick Hospital Corporation as a Certified Respiratory Therapist from January 1998 to March 2000. Educationally, Jennifer earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Management from Drexel University between 2016 and 2021, and two Master of Business Administration degrees, one focused on Human Resources Management and another on Leadership and Management, from Misericordia University. Additionally, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration was obtained from Misericordia University, along with an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Respiratory Care Therapy from Luzerne County Community College.
