Valda Crowder

Dr. Valda Crowder, MD, MBA, is the current Medical Director at UPMC Community Hospital and has been a board-certified emergency medicine physician for over 30 years. They have provided care during four pandemics and multiple crises, including a category five hurricane. As a Senior Consultant at Capitol Health Partners since 2008, Dr. Crowder has designed innovative compliance models and leads medical expert teams for the US Virgin Islands Office of the Attorney General. Dr. Crowder also serves as a Senior Emergency Medicine Physician at Sells Public Health Indian Hospital and Virginia Commonwealth University Hospital. They hold a BS in Material Science Engineering and Chemistry from Cornell University, an MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and an MBA from The Wharton School.
