Maerlyn Broadbent

Maerlyn Broadbent has over 14 years of work experience in the software development and IT industry. From 2007 to 2011, Maerlyn was the ICT Coordinator at OLSH Thamarrurr School. From 2011 to 2013, Maerlyn worked as a Support Developer at PageUp People, where they developed new functionality for a large SaaS system, performed unit and functional testing, and provided mentorship for new team members. From 2013 to 2014, Maerlyn was an Enterprise Forensic Developer at GE Capital, where they designed, built, and implemented a forensic security system. From 2014 to 2018, Maerlyn was a Software Developer and Software Architect at GE, and then a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer and Technical Lead at Identitii Ltd (ASX:ID8). Currently, Maerlyn is a Technical Lead at UPowr.

Maerlyn Broadbent completed a Master of Information Technology from the University of New South Wales, specializing in Artificial Intelligence. Maerlyn also holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Systems from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor of Information Communication Technology from Swinburne University of Technology, with a focus on Business Computing.
