Luis Canas

Luis Canas is a highly experienced industrial designer with a strong background in both medical devices and consumer products. Currently serving as the Lead Industrial Designer at UPPAbaby since October 2016, Luis previously held the position of Senior Industrial Designer at SharkNinja and worked as an Industrial Designer at Mindray North America, focusing on the design and development of medical devices, including anesthesia and patient monitoring systems. Additional experience includes roles at Spectrum Brands, Inc. and freelance positions, where Luis contributed to new product development for well-known brands and conducted consumer research to inform design strategy. Luis began a career in design with internships at various companies, including Converse and Artisent, following a Bachelor of Industrial Design degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
