Dante Garcia has a diverse work experience in the field of soccer. Dante started in 2006 as the Owner of the Columbus Futsal Club, a professional futsal team representing Columbus, OH. In 2015, they became the Chief Operating Officer of the Columbus Futsal & Street Soccer Academy. Additionally, they founded and owned the Columbus Futsal League, a competitive futsal league in Central Ohio, and worked with US Youth Futsal, where they served as a U.S. National ID and Ohio State Futsal ID scout to identify and select top talent for national teams. Dante also worked as a soccer coach for various organizations, including Upper Arlington City Schools, Sporting Columbus, Academia Deportiva Cantolao in Peru, and the Columbus Crew SC. Currently, they are an Academy Scout for the Columbus Crew.
Dante Garcia pursued their education in the field of Sports and Exercise. From 2010 to 2012, they attended the University of Rio Grande and Rio Grande Community College, where they did not obtain a degree. In 2015, they enrolled at Columbus State Community College, and it is unclear if they have completed their degree at this institution.
Additionally, Dante Garcia has obtained various certifications related to sports. Dante earned a certification in Sport Psychology: Practical Implications from Juliana Meireles at United Futsal® in March 2021. In September 2019, they obtained certifications in Concussion in Sports and Sudden Cardiac Arrest from the National Federation of State High School Associations. In the same month, they also received an Urban Soccer Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches and a certification in Sideline Sports Doc from US Club Soccer. Prior to that, in July 2019, they completed the SafeSport Trained course offered by the U.S. Center for SafeSport. In April 2019, they obtained certifications in Grassroots 11v11 and Grassroots 7v7 from the U.S. Soccer Federation. In February 2019, they received a certification in Futsal Systems of Play from Fabiano Ventura. Moreover, they acquired an "F" License from the U.S. Soccer Federation in July 2017. In November 2016, they obtained an NSCAA Level 1 Futsal Diploma from United Soccer Coaches and completed a Regional Level 4 Coaching Course from US Youth Futsal. Finally, in April 2016, they obtained a Zego 4.0 certification from United Futsal®.
