Melissa Gordon

Director Of Assessment Grants And Student Services at UPPER ARLINGTON CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT

Melissa Gordon has extensive work experience in education. Melissa began their career in 1978 as a School Psychologist at Lancaster City Schools. Melissa later served as a Low Incidence Supervisor from 1985 to 1994, and then as an Elementary School Principal from 1994 to 1997. In 1997, they joined Upper Arlington City Schools as the Director of Intervention Services. Later on, they became the Director of Assessment, Grants, and Student Services, a role they held until the present.

Melissa Gordon obtained a diploma in College Prep from Homewood-Flossmoor High School in the years 1964 to 1968. Melissa then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education at the University of Kentucky from 1968 to 1972. Later, they attended Miami University from 1974 to 1976 to earn a Master of Science degree in School Psychology.
