Marvin Lee

Marvin Lee possesses extensive experience in educational financial management, currently serving as Controller for Upper Darby School District since May 2019, overseeing Facilities Management, Transportation Services, and Payroll. Previously, Marvin held several key roles at The School District of Philadelphia, including Deputy COO/General Manager of Transportation Services, where responsibilities included managing a $188 million school transportation operation and ensuring the smooth opening of the school year with strategic resource allocation. Marvin also directed Procurement Services and Facilities Financial Operations, focusing on cost savings and operational efficiency. Earlier experience as Budget Officer for the City of Philadelphia involved oversight of a $170 million annual budget and supervisory roles in fiscal operations. Marvin holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Accounting from Temple University.
