Sarah Whelan

Sarah Whelan serves as a City Councilwoman for Ward 2 of North Wales Borough since January 2022, while also performing as an indoor cycle instructor for Life Time Inc., encouraging individuals to achieve their best selves. Whelan currently teaches in the Upper Dublin School District and has extensive experience in special education, having held positions such as Life Skills Classroom Teacher at Chester County Intermediate Unit and Middle School Dean of Students at AIM Academy. Whelan’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, a Master's Degree in General and Special Education, and ongoing studies in Trauma Informed Instruction at Columbia College. Additionally, Whelan has a background as a professional soccer trainer and corporate office administrator, highlighting a versatile skill set in both education and athletics.
