John McCormick

John McCormick serves as the Chief Information and Information Security Officer for Upper Grand District School Board since April 2015, overseeing information management and security functions while excelling in various areas such as project management, cyber security, and risk management. Prior roles include Associate Chief Information Officer at Upper Grand District School Board, Director of Information and Communications Technology at Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, and Director of Information Technology at Perimeter Institute, among others. McCormick holds an MSc in Computing & Information Science from the University of Guelph, a BMath in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, and a certificate in Project Management from the University of Waterloo.
