Susan Burke

Susan Burke is a highly experienced Coding Compliance Auditor currently employed at UPHP since December 2020. Prior to this role, Susan served as the Manager of Physician Coding Compliance at LifePoint Health® from September 2013 to August 2020, where responsibilities included conducting coding audits, facilitating education for medical centers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Earlier experience includes positions as Senior Physician Auditor and Coding Educator at Marquette General Hospital-DLP, as well as coding and billing specialist roles at Upper Peninsula Digestive Disease Associates and Cardiology Associates of The Upper Peninsula, Inc. Susan has also contributed to the field through the creation of compliance guides and training courses, and holds education from Northern Michigan University.
