Michael Redmond serves as the Executive Director at Upper Valley Haven since October 2018. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Crotched Mountain Foundation, including Senior Advisor, Chief of Strategy for Hospital & Clinical Services, and Sr. Vice President/COO, where responsibilities included overseeing operations for a Specialty Hospital focused on neuro-rehabilitation and managing clinical services for hospital, school, and outpatient services. Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from Boston College, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a Master of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Additionally, Michael holds Lean Six Sigma certifications, including Green Belt and Black Belt in Healthcare from Villanova University.

Upper Valley Haven
With the support of the Upper Valley community, the Haven assists those who are experiencing poverty to be free from hunger, to be securely housed, and to pursue a self-directed life. Founded in 1980, the Haven provides food, temporary shelter, supportive housing, children’s after school and summer programs, community outreach, and problem solving support to those in need. The Haven is open 365 days per year and never charges for any of its services. We now serve over 14,500 people per year.
