Ben Guzick

Ben Guzick is an experienced culinary professional and business owner, currently operating Petit Uppercrust since March 2022 and Uppercrust Productions since April 2018. Ben Guzick took stewardship of Uppercrust, a Gainesville bakery established by Jacqueline Dufty in 1981. Previous roles include baker at Uppercrust in 2015, line cook at Husk Restaurant from 2013 to 2015, garde manger/entremetier at Wallsé in 2013, and stagaire at Blue Hill NY. Educational achievements include a Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration and a Certificate in Culinary Arts from the International Culinary Center. Ben Guzick also holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Vassar College.
