Andrew Webster

Andrew Webster has extensive experience in music education and performance, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Music: Instrumental and Head of Wind Brass and Percussion at Uppingham School since September 2013. Additionally, Andrew has been a Professor of Clarinet at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama since 1994, and has engaged in freelance clarinet performance since 1991. Previous roles include Principal Clarinet at Glyndebourne from 2002 to 2013 and Sub Principal Clarinet at English National Opera from 1997 to 2004. Andrew's musical foundation was established at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where studies took place from 1986 to 1990.
