Ian Brent

Ian Brent has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2008. Ian started as an Online Marketing Strategist and Analyst at cFares in 2008, then became a Web Analytics Specialist and Project Manager at MyShape in 2009. In 2010, they Co-Founded and served as COO of Nifty Shades, and also Founded Zandi's. Ian then worked as a Business Analyst and Marketer for the Riekes Center in 2011. In 2012, they acted as an Independent Contractor for Brent Productions. In 2015, they joined Vungle as a Product Manager and Performance Optimization Manager. In 2020, they were an Inventory Manager at ClearDevice. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Senior Web3 Growth Manager at Upptic. Ian is currently a Founder at whoomp, where they are building a web3-powered system for "emotes" (an evolved version of emojis/gifs).

Ian Brent attended Woodside Priory from 2003 to 2007. Ian then went on to the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business, graduating in 2011 with a BS in Business Administration with a Concentration in Entrepreneurship.
