Spruha Shah has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2013, they worked as an Administrative Intern at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and then as a Continuing Medical Education Intern at Carle Health. In 2014, they joined Shirley Ryan AbilityLab again, this time in the role of Inpatient Scheduling and Interpretive Services. Spruha also worked at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center in a Development role during this time. In 2016, Spruha became the Prosthetics & Orthotics Administrative Coordinator at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. Spruha then moved on to Artemis Health in 2018, where they worked as a Healthcare Analyst until 2019. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Client Success Manager at Springbuk, and as of 2022, they are currently a Client Success Manager at Uprise Health.

Spruha Shah has a High-Performance Leadership Certificate from Cornell University. Spruha also has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Communication from the University of Southern California. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Community Health from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
