Lee Hew's work experience spans from 1987 to present. From 1987 to 1996, they worked as a Group Sales Manager for Portland Newspapers. From 1996 to 2001, they were the General Manager for Journal Transcript Newspapers. From 2001 to 2016, they were the Publisher/General Manager for Current Publishing/Forecaster/Maine Women Magazine. From 2016 to 2018, they were an Event Manager/Organizer for Sun Media Group. Since 2018, they have been an Independent Business Consultant. Since 2020, they have been the Chief Of Staff for Uprise Partners, where they work closely with the founder/CEO in all areas of HR management, client contract management, various p&ls, team development and communications, along with various reporting, operations, and admin tasks.

Lee Hews completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) at Suffolk University from 2011 to 2013, with a focus in Business. lee also completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Literature from North Adams State College from 1978 to 1982.
