Steven Mootz

Steven Mootz has over 18 years of work experience in the construction industry and military service. Steven is currently employed as the Chief Estimator at Uprite Construction Corporation since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Estimator at Uprite Construction Corporation from June 2021 to March 2023. Before joining Uprite Construction Corporation, Steven worked as a Senior Estimator at Oltmans Construction Co. from December 2017 to May 2021. Their extensive experience also includes working as an Estimator at SJ Amoroso Construction Co. from January 2006 to December 2017, where they led estimating efforts for multiple projects and achieved significant bid awards. Steven also served in the United States Marine Corps as a Civil Affairs NCO, 3rd Civil Affairs Group, from June 2003 to February 2010, overseeing reconstruction and development projects in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Steven Mootz attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2003 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering. In June 2011, they obtained the Engineer-In-Training certification from the California Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists. In June 2014, they also obtained the Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft.
