C. Robert Smith

C. Robert (Bob) Smith is an experienced crisis management professional currently serving as an ALICE Certified Instructor at ALICE Active Shooter Response since 2018. They are the President of The Shield Private/Public Sector Crisis Solutions, a position they have held since 2015, and have completed nearly 37 years at UPS, including 29 years in executive roles focused on transportation security. Bob has been appointed to the Kentucky Emergency Response Commission and has held various esteemed positions, including past board member of the Louisville Metro Police Foundation. They are recognized for their leadership in crisis prevention and management, drawing from a diverse background as a Marine, police officer, and correction officer.
