David Springer

David Springer is a seasoned aviation professional with over two decades of experience at UPS, where David currently serves as Senior Director of Engineering. In this role, David leads a team focused on safety, compliance, and aircraft reliability, while establishing the strategic vision for UPS Airlines' Engineering. Prior positions at UPS include Director of MRO Operations & Powerplant Engineering, Director of Fleet Management & Acquisitions, and Aircraft Maintenance Training Manager, among others, where David consistently managed operational and regulatory oversight, as well as aircraft integration and training initiatives. Additionally, David's earlier career included significant roles at Sikorsky and ATA Airlines, complemented by advanced academic credentials including an MBA in Operations and a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University.
