Derek Brown

Derek Brown, MBA, currently serves as the Head of UPS Shared Services since September 2023. Previously, Derek held the position of VP of Infrastructure & Operations at Livingston International, where the focus was on transforming IT services through virtualization and cloud technologies. Derek's extensive experience includes roles such as Vice President of Vendor Management at Comcast, overseeing operations for thousands of customer care business partners, and Vice President of Enterprise Services, leading an internal IT services transformation. Earlier career highlights include roles as Vice President of Enterprise Infrastructure at Unisource Worldwide, Senior Manager at Accenture, Web Portal Architect at Ford Motor Company, and Experienced Manager at Andersen Consulting. Military service includes being a Sergeant in both the US Army and the Army Reserve. Derek holds an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Grand Valley State University, complemented by executive education at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
