Donald Hickey is an Applied AI and Engineering Leader currently serving as the Director of Architecture and Strategy at UPS. With a career at UPS that began in 1991, Donald has developed and deployed scalable products utilizing AI, GenAI, SaaS, Cloud, and RPA. They are a two-time US patent inventor, having created machine learning models to predict package delivery times and known for their award-winning AI product, Anticipated Delivery and Package Time. Previously, Donald worked as a Systems Analyst at Northrop Grumman and as a Telecom Analyst at JCPenney. They hold a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, are pursuing a Certificate in Applied Project Management from Boston University, and are completing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Iona College.
