James Schmid

James Schmid has worked in the aviation industry for fifteen years, holding several key roles including Dispatch Duty Manager at both Spirit Airlines and ASTAR Air Cargo. They served as Assistant Chief Dispatcher at Commute Airlines and contributed to Flight Standards and Procedures at UPS from 2013 to 2016. Currently, James manages the MEL Department at UPS. They earned a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on International Business from Thomas More College, where they also studied International Business Management and Technical Communications. Additionally, James obtained an Airmen Certificate of Aeronautical Dispatch from the Scheffield School of Aeronautics.
