Jared Hatfield

Jared Hatfield is a Senior Principal Platform Architect at GE Appliances, specializing in using AWS technologies to design and build platform solutions for IoT connected appliances. Previously, they served as a Principal Cloud Engineer and Connected Appliances Architect, and were instrumental in implementing the first version of GE Appliances' WiFi Connected cloud platform. Jared has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Louisville, where they earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. They began their career with GE, where they completed a two-year rotational leadership training program and worked on applications for service technicians.
