Jonathan Birnbaum has extensive experience in aviation and leadership roles, currently serving as an Airline Pilot at UPS since September 2020. In addition, Jonathan has been the Executive Director of International Service Learning since July 2013 and the Managing Member and Owner of Black Horse Ranch LLC since July 2006. Previous aviation roles include MD-87 Tanker Pilot at Erickson Aero Tanker from February 2018 to September 2020 and Evaluator Pilot in the Alaska Air National Guard from September 2013 to July 2017. Jonathan also served as a Senior Pilot and Major in the US Air Force from May 2002 to September 2013. In the financial sector, Jonathan was Chief Financial Officer and Partner at both Triple J Diving LLC from October 2011 to January 2016 and Northwest Marine Harvesting LLC from March 2012 to April 2013. Jonathan holds a Master of Science in Space Studies from American Military University and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics from Washington University in St. Louis and Eckerd College, respectively.
