Peter Crefeld

Peter Crefeld is an experienced information security professional with a robust background in cybersecurity, having worked at UPS since May 2012 in various roles, including Information Security Manager for both Cloud Security and Identity Access Management, as well as Information Security Architect and Senior Information Security Analyst. Prior to UPS, Peter Crefeld served as an IT Risk Management Officer at UBS Wealth Management, leading significant projects such as the Wealth Management Americas Data Loss Prevention program and IT risk assessments, while also managing the deployment of TLS for encrypted email. Earlier in the career, Peter Crefeld held managerial positions at Andersen Consulting, overseeing projects across multiple industries. Academically, Peter Crefeld holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from NYU Tandon School of Engineering, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, and two degrees from Rutgers University in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
