Roy Wylie is a seasoned naval aviator with a comprehensive background in air operations and leadership within the U.S. Navy. From November 2015 to November 2017, Wylie served in Carrier strike group FIFTEEN, certifying aircraft carriers in combat operations efficiency and mentoring key commanders in naval aviation. Prior to this role, from September 2014 to November 2015, Wylie was the commanding officer of Strike Fighter Squadron TWO (VFA-2), overseeing significant capital assets and personnel training. Wylie also held the position of Chief of Exercises for the US Third Fleet from November 2017 to May 2019, contributing to military strategy and operations. Currently employed as a First Officer at UPS since August 2019, Wylie holds a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Literature from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Arts in Military Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
