Ruben Murillo

Ruben Murillo, EIT, is an accomplished engineering professional currently serving as an Automation Supervisor in Building & Systems Engineering at UPS since September 2021. In this role, Ruben has contributed to determining cost-effective solutions for equipment repairs and managing preventative maintenance inspections. Previous experience includes an Engineering Internship at SOLO Secure, where Ruben developed Bills of Materials and created preliminary 2D and 3D drawings, and a Powertrain Engineer position at California State University, Los Angeles, where Ruben designed a hybrid powertrain and researched alternative energy sources. Additional experience includes conducting material stress tests as a Test Engineer and tutoring in mathematics and physics. Ruben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles, and an Associate of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Los Angeles City College.
