Sanjay Raghavendra

Sanjay Raghavendra is a data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and data science, currently working at UPS since May 2023. Previously, Sanjay held positions as a data science co-op and intern and served as a machine learning researcher at USC Information Sciences Institute, contributing to the development of autonomous annotation models for biometric feature identification. Sanjay has also worked as a data science intern at Etsaw, where a multivariate price forecasting model for recycled plastics was successfully developed. At Scorpion Intelligent Automation, an advanced plastic detection and classification system named PlasPickr was created, achieving 96% accuracy. Earlier internships included contributions to Samsung India’s Voice Intelligence team and the development of a web application at Compose Corner for training professional table tennis players. Sanjay holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Ramaiah Institute of Technology.
