William Norton-Bliss

Sales Development Representative at Upserve

William Norton-Bliss has held a variety of roles in the political and business sectors. In 2019, they began working as a Sales Development Representative for Upserve. Prior to that, they were a Field Organizer for Whitehouse for Senate in 2018. In 2016, they worked as an Intern for Senator Reed Washington, DC Office. In 2015, they worked as a Summer Fellow for the Rhode Island Department of State. In 2014, they worked as an Intern for Elorza for Mayor Transition Team, a Field Organizer for Lorne For Mayor, and a Summer Intern for Congressman Cicilline Washington, DC Office. In their role as an Intern for Elorza for Mayor Transition Team, William reached out to and coordinated up to 25 volunteers for five different events. William also worked to expand the RSVP list for the inauguration of Mayor Elorza, a pray breakfast, and other inaugural events and activities. As a Field Organizer for Cicilline for Congress, William reached out to locals to grow and coordinate the volunteer pool, using Twitter and Facebook to expand base. William also researched events for the Congressman to attend and accompanied him, as well as fielding approximately 40 calls a day from constituents answering questions regarding policies. As a Summer Intern for Congressman Cicilline Washington, DC Office, William's responsibilities included attending committee hearings and markups, policy briefings, and writing summaries of each for Legislative Assistants; attending weekly office legislative meetings; drafting legislative correspondence; writing and researching briefing memos for Congressman; assisting constituents visiting DC office; and staffing the front desk and other general office assistance.

William Norton-Bliss completed a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies from American University in 2018, having attended from 2014-2018. Prior to that, they attended La Salle Academy from 2010-2014.
