Jacob Evenson

Jacob Evenson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jacob started their career in education, working as a Fifth Grade and later a Sixth Grade Teacher in different schools. Jacob provided classroom instruction in core subjects, incorporated STEM curriculum, and utilized assessment data for individualized learning. Jacob also collaborated with a cohort to launch a student leadership program.

After their teaching career, Jacob transitioned into the software industry. Jacob worked at Coligo Ingles as a Fifth Grade Teacher before moving on to Maximum Solutions as a Software Implementation and Training Specialist. In this role, they handled implementation and training for software solutions.

Jacob then joined BirdDogHR as a Product Owner. Jacob managed SCRUM teams, participated in agile ceremonies, and worked closely with the executive team and stakeholders to drive product vision. Jacob later moved to Hy-Vee, Inc. as a Product Owner, where they led a SCRUM team, aligned team metrics with company goals, and presented quarterly plans to leadership. Jacob gathered customer feedback and translated it into business requirements, monitored delivered features, and achieved targeted business metrics.

Currently, Jacob is working as a Product Manager at Upshop.

Jacob Evenson attended Saint John's University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Education.
