Shamus Hines

Shamus Hines has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Shamus currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Upshop, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, Shamus was the Managing Partner at Silver Field Capital, LLC from July 2015. Shamus also held the role of CEO at Upshop (formerly ADC) from August 2017 until August 2022.

Before their time at Upshop and Silver Field Capital, Shamus worked at Morningstar, where they held various positions. These include Senior Vice President, Global Business Development (July 2013-October 2015), Vice President, Global Business Development (April 2013-June 2013), Vice President, Key Accounts (April 2012-March 2013), Vice President (January 2011-May 2012), Sales Director (January 2009-December 2010), and Consultant (January 2008-December 2008).

Additionally, Shamus started their career at UBS Wealth Management as a Registered Client Service Associate from February 2006 to January 2008.

Shamus Hines completed their MBA in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Strategy with Honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned their BA in Economics from the University of Michigan from 2002 to 2005. In 2004, they also attended Universidad de Salamanca, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree or field of study from there. Additionally, Shamus has some association with the CFA Institute, although the duration and specifics of their involvement are not provided.
