Omid A. Mousavi

Omid A. Mousavi's work experience includes:

- Lead Data Scientist at KrakenFlex (Octopus Energy Group) since November 2022.

- R&D Director at depsys SA from April 2016 to November 2022. Their role involved managing the R&D department and developing applications for distribution grid digitalization and control in the presence of renewable energy productions, energy storage systems, e-mobility consumptions, and electrification of heating demands. Omid also wrote patents, scientific publications, and technical reports.

Omid A. Mousavi completed their education in the field of Electrical Power Engineering. Omid received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2006. Omid then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree at Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic, which they completed in 2009. Omid's academic journey continued with a PhD at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Power Engineering in 2014.
