Stacey Parratt

Stacey Parratt has gained experience in various roles throughout their career. Stacey recently worked as a Junior Software Engineer at KrakenFlex, a company under the Octopus Energy Group, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they were a Trainee Software Engineer at Northcoders from November 2022 to March 2023. During this time, they gained skills in creating web applications using React, Express.js, and PostgreSQL, among other technologies. Stacey also participated in a group project using TypeScript, MongoDB, React Native, and Socket.io.

Before transitioning into software engineering, Stacey worked in the NHS as a Radiographer from July 2018 to July 2021. In this role, they specialized in communicating with and imaging patients. Stacey also led the radiology theatre department, organizing staff and collaborating with the theatre teams. Additionally, they received training in using advanced theatre mobile imaging with an O-arm, becoming one of only five members in the department with this expertise.

Stacey Parratt completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer at The University of Salford from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, in March 2023, they obtained a Northcoders Software Engineering Bootcamp Certificate of Completion from Northcoders.
