William Potts

William Potts has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. William began their career in 2000 as an Analyst at Morgan Stanley. In 2005, they joined Citi as a Director. In 2009, they co-founded Ivaldi Capital, where they served as CEO and CIO. At Ivaldi, they were responsible for the strategic direction of the firm and oversaw all portfolio decisions and investments. Under their leadership, Ivaldi became a US$4 billion multi-manager equity long/short hedge fund, with offices in London and Singapore. In 2017, they became the CEO and Director of Houghton Lane, a private investment company. In 2018, they founded Upside Technology, where they are responsible for setting the strategic direction and building the team. William also became the CIO and Director of Higher Park, an alternative, registered asset investment manager. In 2018, they also became a Director at ANNA Money, a SME-focused challenger bank, until their successful exit in 2020.

William Potts studied at Wellington College from 1996 until 1997. William then attended The University of Manchester from 1997 until 2000, where they obtained a BA (Hons) in Finance.
