Hwalsuk Lee

Hwalsuk Lee has a range of work experience in various companies. Hwalsuk started their career as a Researcher at Samsung Techwin from March 2011 to May 2016. Hwalsuk then joined NCSOFT as an AI Researcher from May 2016 to September 2017. Following that, they worked at NAVER Corp as an AI Researcher from September 2017 to March 2020, and later served as an Executive Officer in the Clova AI department from March 2020 to September 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer at Upstage, starting from October 2020. Additionally, they are also a committee member for Tensorflow Korea since July 2017.

Hwalsuk Lee's education history begins in 2000 when they attended Ajou University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Science, focusing on Computer and Electrical Engineering. Following this, from 2004 to 2006, Hwalsuk attended the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology to pursue a Master's degree in Engineering and Science, specializing in Computer and Electrical Engineering. Lastly, from 2006 to 2011, Hwalsuk continued at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology to pursue a Ph.D. in Engineering and Science, with a focus on Computer and Electrical Engineering.
