Minsoo Khang

Minsoo Khang has a diverse work experience in the fields of artificial intelligence research, postgraduate research, and software engineering. In 2019, they started as a Postgraduate Research Intern at NVIDIA, specializing in 3D novel view synthesis and neural radiance field. Minsoo also worked on a research project developing an autonomous guiding vehicle for the visually impaired, which received the Gold award in the HKUST 2020 President's Cup Challenge. Additionally, they gained experience as a Summer Research Intern at ASTRI in 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Research Assistant at both The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Singapore Management University. In 2017, Minsoo held the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and software engineer at Epoxsea Inc. within the HKUST ROV Team. Currently, they are working as an Artificial Intelligence Research Engineer at Upstage, starting in 2022.

Minsoo Khang completed their high school education at Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) from 2011 to 2016, earning a High School IB Diploma. From 2017 to 2020, they pursued a degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a focus on Machine Learning and Data Science at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Minsoo then continued their education at the same institution, obtaining a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Computer Science from 2020 to 2022.
