Sooyoung Baek

Sooyoung Baek has extensive work experience as a Software Engineer. Sooyoung'smost recent position was at Upstage, where they have been working since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Samsung Electronics as a Software Engineer from January 2021 to June 2021. Before that, they were a Software Engineer at Hyprsense from January 2019 to December 2019. Sooyoung also worked as a Researcher at UC Irvine, where they explored the possibilities of Software Engineering Chatbots under the supervision of Professor André van der Hoek. In this role, they developed a system for automatically detecting and predicting python code conflicts in real-time and notifying relevant individuals about the conflict information.

Sooyoung Baek attended Hanyang University from 2016 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering.
