Tom Carruthers is an experienced event and sponsorship marketing consultant currently serving at UpStaged Entertainment Group since November 2021. As the President of Thomas Carruthers Event & Sponsorship Marketing, established in September 1980, Tom has specialized in securing entertainers and providing production services for various events. Tom's extensive involvement in the film industry includes roles as Executive Director and Producer for the Connecticut Film Festival and as Executive Producer and Artistic Director for FilmFest52 and the International PSA & Micro Short Film Competition Film Festival. Additionally, Tom holds leadership positions with the Jewish Film Festival of Western Connecticut, Bethel JaZz, New Haven International Film Festival, !Viva Cinema! Latino Film, Music & Arts Festival, and the Bennington International Film Festival. Educational background includes studies at Rippowam, Utah State University, and the University of Connecticut.
