Brendan Heinig

Brendan Heinig has extensive work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Brendan is currently serving as the Principal Mechanical Engineer at Upstart Power, Inc., where they are responsible for designing and producing solid oxide fuel cell generators for residential and industrial applications. These generators work collaboratively with renewable sources and provide backup power generation.

Prior to their current role, Brendan worked as a Principal Engineer at Lupine Labs from 2016 to 2021.

Before that, they worked at Protonex Technology Corp from 2008 to 2016, where they held various positions. Brendan served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer & Project Manager from 2013 to 2016, a Mechanical Engineer from 2009 to 2013, and a Mechanical Design Co-op from 2008 to 2009.

Brendan also gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Analogic Corporation from 2007 to 2008 and as a New Product Development Co-op at Ametek Aerospace from 2005 to 2006.

Brendan Heinig holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business from Northeastern University, which they completed in 2009.
