Jordan McGinty has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. They started their career in 2009 as an R&D Co-Op at Protonex, where they conducted analysis of fuel reforming units for portable fuel cell electricity applications. They also assisted with designing and operating bench-scale experiments. In 2010, Jordan continued their work at Protonex as an R&D Co-Op, where they focused on characterizing new catalyst and membrane materials.

They then progressed to the role of Process Engineer II, where they played a significant role in the development and design of Nuvera's Powertap Hydrogen Generator. This involved managing an R&D laboratory and designing systems and processes from concept through verification. In 2019, Jordan transitioned to the role of Fuel Cell Test Engineer II, contributing to the testing of fuel cell technologies until 2021.

Jordan McGinty received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University. This educational pursuit lasted from 2006 to 2011. In addition, Jordan earned the Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (SSGBC) from U. Mass Boston College of Management in Partnership with GBMP in October 2015.
